So, it turns out I was mistaken, and my dieselpunk fantasy story “Iron Roses” has not only been released to subscribers today, but is available on the main Daily Science Fiction site as well. Read it here.

I wrote this story in 2009, which goes to show that you shouldn’t give up submitting a story if you still believe in it.

My short story “Iron Roses” will be coming out in a couple of days in Daily Science Fiction. If a dieselpunk fantasy story set in an alternate Vancouver sounds appealing to you, you can read it on May 16th via email for subscribers (and you’ll get a new sff story in your inbox every weekday should you subscribe), and it will appear on the main site a week later.

Admittedly, a publication date coming near makes me antsy. And excited!
